Tobacco Board – Guntur – Employment Notification  2/2012 – Lower Division Clerks – LDC

The Govt. of India established the Tobacco Board under an Act of Parliament in the year 1975 (brought to effect from 1.1.1976) and opened its head quarters at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh with a view to bring about an all-round development to the tobacco industry.

Tobacco Board invites applications from interested Candidates for the following Post :

Lower Division Clerks (LDC)

No. of Posts : 11 (UR – 08 ; OBC – 02 ; ST – 01)

Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 in PB-I, with Grade Pay of Rs.1900

Qualification : i) Matriculation or its equivalent  (Graduates preferred) ii) Pass in English Type writing Lower Grade examination @ 30 W.P.M. conducted by the Board of Technical Education.

Age Limit : 30 years as on 21 – 09 – 2012 (Relaxation of upper age Limit : OBC – 3 yrs ; ST – 05 yrs)

Application Fee : Rs.100/- ( No fee for ST Candidates) – DD  drawn in favour of Secretary, Tobacco Board, Guntur.

Note : Candidates employed in Government / Public sector undertakings /Autonomous bodies must apply through proper channel.  These posts are purely temporary but are likely to continue.  Present place of Posting is likely to be in Andhra Pradesh / Karnataka State.

How to Apply : Application on (A4 size) plain paper affixing the latest two passport size photographs with complete ‘Bio-data giving Name, Father’s Name, Age, Caste, Permanent address, Address for correspondence, Educational qualifications and experience, Employment Registration No. etc., along with the  D.D. for application fee should be sent to the Secretary, Tobacco Board, Post Box No.322, Srinivasarao Thota, G.T. Road, Guntur – 522 004, Andhra Pradesh.

The envelop should be super scribed as “Application for the Post of “Lower Division Clerk”
