Sashastra Seema Bal Invites application from interested Male Candidates for the Post of Constable (Trademen), the details are as follows :
Name of the Post : Constable (Tradesmen)
No. of Posts : 1524 ( CT Cook – 490 ; CT washer man – 367 ; CT(Barber) – 38 ; CT(Safaiwala) – 262 ; CT(Water Carrier) – 211 ; CT(Waiter) – 42 ; CT(Carpenter) – 27 ; CT(Painter) – 23 ; CT ( Tailor) – 19 ; CT ( Cobbler) – 37 ; CT ( Gardener) – 08 )
Pay Scale: (Pay Band – 1) Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2000/- per month.
Other Allowance : The post will carry Dearness Allowance, Ration Money, Washing Allowance, Free Uniform, Free accommodation or HRA, Transport Allowance, Free Leave Pass and any other allowance as admissible in the Force from time to time under the Rules/ Instructions. They will be covered under new restructured contributory pension scheme.
Eligibility Conditions : The candidate must fulfill all eligibility conditions and should be in possession of all certificates on 09-08-2012. Candidates appearing in the examination/ awaiting result/ educational certificates, Experience certificate need not apply.
Age Limit : 18 to 23 years (Relaxation 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC)
Qualification : Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board with Two years work experience in respective trade OR (i) One year certificate course from a recognized Industrial Training Institute OR Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the Trade ; OR ( ii) Two years Diploma from recognized Industrial Training Institute in the trade or similar trade.

Note : The result of provisionally selected candidates will be uploaded in SSB website www.ssbrectt.gov.in as per availability of vacancies. The selected candidates will be issued offer of appointment with the direction to report to the allotted units within 45 days from the date of issue of offer of appointment. No further extension will be given except in deserving cases.
Application Fee : The candidates belonging to General and OBC Category will be required to pay Rs. 50/- (non refundable) as application fee in the form of Bank Draft/IPO.

How to Apply : Eligible and interested candidates should send their Applications (duly filled in) complete in all
respect along with Admit Card duly filled in, in the prescribed pro-forma as per Annexure-I and Annexure-II. The application shall be typed on one side only in full size plain paper with passport size photographs affixed, application fee, attested copies of testimonials are sent to The Inspector General, FTR HQ (SSB), Patna, Rukanpura House, Baily Road, Patna (Bihar)-800014.

Attested copies of following documents be attached with the application form :
i) Educational Qualification Certificate.
ii) Technical/Trade qualification/experience certificate.
iii) Date of birth certificate (Matriculation or 10th pass certificate)
iv) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/OBC Certificate issued by an authority not below the rank of Tehsildar/Naib Tehsildar or SDM as prescribed at Annexure-III and IV respectively.
Note: OBC candidates must be in prescribed pro-forma as prescribed at Annexure- IV.
v) Questionnaire duly signed by the candidate as per Annexure-VI
vi) Domicile Certificate issued by local revenue authorities for verification of citizenship.
vii) Discharge certificate in case of Ex-servicemen.
viii) Two self addressed envelopes of 4”x9” size with Rs.25/- postage stamps affixed on each envelope.
