BSNL UP West Telecom Circle invites applications typed on A4 size paper in the prescribed proforma from eligible candidates for the vacant posts of Telecom Technical Assistant (TTA) in various SSAs as listed below from Open market for the  Recruitment Year-2012 examination.

No. of Posts : 101 Posts (Agra – 11 Posts ;  Aligarh – 07 Posts ;  badaun – 03 Posts ;  Bijnor – 06 Posts ;  Bareilly – 07 Posts ;  Etah – 01 Post ;  Ghaziabad – 20 Posts ;  Moradabad – 07 Posts ;  Meerut – 15 Posts ;  Mathura – 07 Posts ; Muzaffarnagar – 06 Posts ;  Pilibhit – 01 Post ;  Rampur – 03 Posts ;  Saharanpur – 07 Posts)

Pay Scale : NE9 i.e IDA Pay Sclale of Rs. 13600 – 25420 with annual increment @ 3% of the basic pay plus usual allowances as per BSNL rules.

Qualification : Applicant must Possess as on 13.05.2013 (ie) last date of receipt of application, The educational qualifications in any one of the following disciplines from a recognized Institute /University :

A. 3 years Engineering Diploma in following disciplines.i)   Telecommunications  Engineering
ii)  Electronics Engineering
iii) Electrical Engineering
iv) Radio Engineering
v)  Computer Engineering
vi) Information Technology
vi)Instruments Technology

Candidates possessing higher qualification in the eligible stream (A) above are eligible to appear for the examination.

B. M.Sc (Electronics) from a recognized institution /university.

Candidates possessing higher qualification in the eligible stream (A) above are eligible to appear for the examination.

Age Limit : 18 to 27 years as on 13.05.2013 i.e. the last date of receipt of application. The upper age is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates. Ex-Servicemen and PWD are eligible for the relaxation in age limit as prescribed by the Central Government. The age is relaxable for BSNL Employees, upto  40 years for OC, 43 years for OBC and 45 years for SC/ST.

Selection Process : Through a Competitive Examination  to be conducted on 30.06.2013, followed by a medical test. Appointment and posting will be subject to successful completion of pre – appointment training.

Probation Period & Training : All candidates provisionally recruited shall execute a Bond for a period of two years from the date of their appointment in the format specified by the BSNL and shall remain on probation period of two years. The selected candidates, before their appointment as TTAs, will have to successfully undergo prescribed training as per the training plan laid down and amended by the BSNL time to time. During training period, the direct recruited TTAs will be entitled to a stipend (training allowance) as decided by the BSNL from time to time. The seniority of the candidates will be decided on the basis of their post training marks.

Application fee : The examination fee (non refundable) of Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred only) is to be sent along with the application form in the shape of crossed Indian postal order/bank draft in  the favour of Account Officer (Cash) BSNL O/o Sr. GMTD/TDM (name of unit) of the SSA concerned as the case may be payble at their Head Quarters. For Example: For  Agra SSA demand draft/Indian postal order may be drawn in favour of  Account Officer (Cash) BSNL O/o Sr. GMTD Agra. Cheques etc. will not be accepted. No examination fee is required to be paid in respect of SC/ST/PH candidates.

How to Apply : Intrested Candidates have to apply in the format prescribed. The envelop containing the application form should be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF TELECOM TECHNICAL ASSISTANT UNDER DIRECT RECRUITMENT -2012” . The applications complete in all respect along with the Demand Draft  drawn towards  examination fee should be sent by Registered  Post/Speed Post/by Hand to the SSA concerned.
